El e-mail que hemos recibido hoy 5 Mayo 2015 de Shanti i Sadkishya, demuestra el desastre permanente en el que se encontrará Nepal durante mucho tiempo:

Thank you for your mail and sorry for delay reply. Hope you are fine. Here we are well. Me and my family hardly escape from terrible earth quake. For 11 days me and my family stayed in temporary tent house. Today only we return to home. Our home also got cracked. My grand mother also expired.
I have visited Khushi Nest. All the room got cracked and most of accessories damaged. I am going to search new rooms for Khusinest. Here condition is so bad. Still earth quack continuing but less in magnitude. Most of the women and children went to their village home to build damaged home and to search their family members buried on collapsed home. I met Sadikshya and Eureka two days before. They told to shift Khusinest. Here we are suffering from scarcity of water food clothes and safe shelter.
All other news about Nepal and its people you know from news. So please help us as much as you can.

Gracias por tu e-mail y siento el retraso en la respuesta. Espero estés bien. Aquí todos estamos bien. Yo y mi familia apenas escapamos del terrible terremoto. Durante 11 días yo y mi familia permanecimos temporalmente en una tienda como casa. Hasta hoy no volvemos a casa. Nuestro hogar está agrietado. Mi abuela murió.
He visitado The Khushi Nest- El Niu Feliç. Todas las habitaciones están agrietadas y la mayoría de los accesorios estropeados. Buscaré nuevas habitaciones para The Khushi Nest. Aquí la situación está tan mal. Todavía hay terremoto pero en menor magnitud. La mayoría de las mujeres y los niños han ido a sus pueblos para reconstruir los edificios dañados y encontrar a los miembros de sus familias enterrados en el destrozado hogar. Hace 2 días me encontré con Eureka y Sadikshya. Dijeron de cambiar el lugar de The Khushi Nest. Aquí estamos sufriendo escasez de agua, alimentos,ropas y un refugio seguro.
Todas las otras noticias sobre Nepal y su gente las conoces por las noticias. Por tanto ayúdanos tanto como puedas.

Namaste Maria.
We are all Ok here. We are not able to do daily activities and work because we are staying out of the house due to earthquake. Here everywhere it is been very hard and suffering time, No electricity no internet so could not mail you time to time. We went to Khushi Nest when the road has been open. We saw house but the house has been cracked very badly outside and inside. Many houses have been fallen down. When we went up the condition of all the floor and rooms are very bad, Classrooms has been locked and could not Open. The people who are living up they are shifting in another place I talk with House owner and later they are also taking their things. We decided to move Khushi Nest. May be the building will be collapsed. We are trying to move the Khushi Nest so we are not able to search good place as everywhere houses have been cracked and we are not able to find the room. We know we need to find the room in Ward 17. IF we find one flat within 3 rooms then we shift the Khushi Nest. We are letting you to know.
In bank until yesterday the money has not came yet which you had sent for the Nest, may be next day we can have. Now we do not have money nor basic needs. Our houses also have been cracked badly. No good condition to stay as per day earthquake is going on many times. It’s so kind of you that in this bad condition you said you like to help us but we do not know how you would like to help us?
Here school are been closed for more than a month and some organization offices etc has been running. We have contacted some kids and they are all right and they are living with their relatives and some known people. They are very happy to have a conversation with us. We are able to have conversation with 3 or 4 women as they are ok and hope women are ok and has gone to their village as many houses have been broke down and collapsed.
For some days I could not contact to Lawyer but as I have a Conversation he has gone to village as his house broke down and he came here soon in his rent house. I talk with him about Khushi Nest and its condition. In President’s villages also his house has been broke down and he is in his village yet.
Maria, we have mail this from all of us together as we are not able to mail you individually because we do not have electricity and internet yet. I am sending you message from mobile Data. I will inform you time to time. When electricity and internet will work I will send you bills, Expenses and reports. We are busy in searching room to put the furniture and all things of Nest. When we find room we hope we could run Khushi Nest properly like before but now we cannot run it in these conditions.

Aquí estamos todos bien. No podemos hacer las actividades diarias ni el trabajo porque estamos fuera de nuestra casa debido al terremoto. En todas partes todo es muy difícil y se sufre. No hay electricidad, ni internet por tanto no puedo escribirte a menudo. Fuimos al The Khushi Nest -El Niu Feliç cuando la carretera fué transitable. Vimos la casa pero está llena de grietas por fuera y por dentro. Muchas casas han caído. El estado del suelo y de las habitaciones es muy malo. Las clases han sido cerradas y no se puede entrar. Las personas que viven en el piso de arriba se cambiarán a otro sitio. Hablé con la propietaria del edificio y después también sacarán sus cosas. Hemos decidido cambiar el lugar de The Khushi Nest-El Niu Feliç. Tal vez el edificio se derrumbará. Estamos tratando trasladar The Khushi Nest-El Niu Feliç y no somos capaces de encontrar un buen lugar porque todas las casas tiene grietas y no podemos encontrar una habitación. Sabemos que necesitamos encontrar una habitación en el barrio 17 (donde estamos ahora). Si encontramos un piso con tres habitaciones entonces cambiaremos The Khushi Nest-El Niu Feliç. Te informaremos.
Ayer todavía no había llegado el dinero que mandaste (el 28/4/2015) para el Nest, tal vez mañana podemos tenerlo. Ahora no tenemos dinero para las necesidades básicas. Nuestras casas han sido agrietadas de mala manera. Malas condiciones para estar y el terremoto se repite muchas veces al día con menor agresividad. Es muy amable de tu parte que en estas malas condiciones hayas dicho que quieres ayudarnos, pero no sabemos ¿cómo te gustaría ayudarnos?.
Aquí las escuelas han cerrado un mes y algunas oficinas están abriendo. Hemos contactado con algunos niños y están bien viviendo con familiares y algunas personas conocidas. Han estado muy contentos de hablar con nosotras. Hemos podido hablar con 3-4 mujeres que están bien y han ido a sus pueblos a ver las casas agrietadas y derrumbadas.
Durante unos días no he podido contactar con nuestro Abogado pero me dijo que había ido al pueblo porque su casa también se derrumbó y volverá pronto a Kathmandu para alquilar un piso. Hablé con él respecto a The Khushi Nest-El Niu Feliç y su estado. El Presidente de El Niu Felç todavía está en su pueblo porque su casa también se derrumbó.
María te hemos escrito este e-mail las 3 profes juntas porque no podemos hacerlo individualmente debido a que todavía no tenemos electricidad ni internet. Te he mandado este mensaje a través del móvil. Te informaré a menudo. Cuando tengamos electricidad e internet te mandaré las facturas, gastos y resúmenes del mes.Estamos ocupadas en buscar una habitación donde poner los muebles y todas las cosas del Nest-Niu. Cuando encontremos la habitación esperamos abrir The Khushi Nest-l Niu Feliç correctamente como antes, pero ahora en estas condiciones no lo podemos abrir.
