Os vamos a resumir las actividades de este mes de Noviembre 2025, realizadas en nuestro Cultural Center el NIU FELIÇ – THE KHUSHI NEST, de Katmandú (Nepal)
Antes de nada damos la bienvenida a dos alumnas muy jóvenes, guapas y simpáticas REENA y PUNAM. Les explicamos que damos clases de Nepalí, Inglés, Matemáticas, Filosofía, Ciencias Sociales, Fotografía, Yoga, gimnasia, jabón líquido…
Como novedad este mes hemos empezado el taller de trabajar el barro. Yo les regalé 50 figuras de pesebre de barro y para que sea más inclusivo, haremos animalitos, casitas pagodas, estupas las construcciones típicas nepalesas compartiendo pesebre con las figuras catalanas. También hemos realizado unos bolsitos típicos nepaleses para las monedas. Cuidamos el Huerto plantando espinacas y cebollas. A parte de nuestro periódico que se llama THE KHUSHI NEST TIME, leemos otros periódicos para enterarnos de lo que pasa por el mundo y comentarlo entre todas. A la Viuda también nos gusta atenderla por lo que en cada celebración y lo celebramos todo, ponemos dinero en su hucha que se lo daremos una vez al año en especies para que nadie le robe el dinero.
Como veis hacemos todo lo que podemos para aprovechar el tiempo y que las alumnas salgan lo mejor preparadas y cultivadas posibles, que es nuestro sueño y afán.

KUMARI SHRESTHA, 61 years old
I am from Nayabazaar. I have two sons and one daughter. My daughter lives in Korea, she marries Korean and she settled over there, she has a son. My Younger son is not married but my older son got married with Nepali and had a kid. I want to learn how to read and write so I want to come here to get education and make friends for me. I am very happy to be able learn Nepali alphabet and also I can learned many workshops and activities which makes me really happy and refresh. Thank you to Maria for all these opportunity and all teachers for their hard work.
BISHNU DEVI MAHARJAN, 73 years old
Firstly, I would like to thank Maria mam for all these contribution to us. staying in foreign country and helping other country is great thing for people. We are really grateful. In old age making friends, learning how to read and write and study is really beautiful and challenging thing to us but I am trying to study the sentence, I am now able to read Nepali and write question answer which is happy thing for me so I want to thank my all teachers for doing hard work. Thank you Maria so much for this opportunity.
LAXMI PAHADI
I am 68 years old from Nayabazaar. I have three sons; both older son are in Canada and they settled over there; younger one is not married, he is with me. I stay with my younger son as my husband died many years before. I am independent women, I went to monasteries, yoga and other place. So I do not have any worries and tension. I am very free woman. So thank you Maria for giving education for women like us. I am very grateful to you. I am not worried about anything. I am very happy to come in TKN. I got an opportunity to study alphabets, learning many Workshop useful for life. I want to thank Maria for all this doings and making us to get many things; all three teachers making more effort in making success and improve TKN far than before. I appreciate all of you and thankful for your dedication for giving us bright future and good knowledge

Mother, Father, and Teacher
Mother, father, and teacher are three important figures who deeply influence our lives and guide us toward becoming responsible and capable individuals. Each plays a unique role, but together they form a powerful support system that shapes our personality, values, and future.
A mother is often the first teacher in a child’s life. She showers us with unconditional love, patience, and care. From teaching us to speak our first words to helping us understand right from wrong, she guides us gently through every early step. Her warmth brings comfort during difficult times, and her encouragement strengthens our confidence. A mother’s sacrifices often go unnoticed, but her influence remains the strongest throughout our lives.
A father plays an equally important role. He is a source of strength, discipline, and protection. Fathers often teach us important life skills, such as responsibility, honesty, and courage. Through his actions and guidance, he shows us how to face challenges, overcome failures, and continue moving forward. His support helps us develop determination and a strong character. Fathers may not always express their feelings openly, but their dedication and hard work reflect deep love for their children.
Teachers, meanwhile, shape our intellectual and moral development. They introduce us to knowledge, ideas, and the world beyond our home. A teacher inspires curiosity, encourages creativity, and helps students discover their talents. Good teachers not only teach academic subjects but also important values like respect, teamwork, and discipline. They motivate us to dream bigger and work harder for our goals. The lessons we learn from teachers stay with us long after we leave the classroom.
Together, mother, father, and teacher form the foundation of our growth. Their combined love, guidance, and wisdom help us understand ourselves and the world around us. They play a vital role in shaping our future and preparing us to become kind, capable, and responsible members of society. Their contributions are invaluable, and we should always be grateful for their presence in our lives.
REENA DANGOL, 23 years old
I am from Chitwan but my husband is from Kalanki. I had only study two grade in school but due to family matter. My mother have two husbands. I am daughter from my first father. I did love marriage but my husband used to have a wife but they did divorce. I do not know anything, I am very shy girl and simple girl. Due to my innocence, my husband family treats me well but my husband drinks alcohol and treats me badly. I want to study a lot and be well learned woman. I want to be Skillfull so I am learning workshop and education. Thank you to Maria mam and three teachers for all this opportunity.
URIKA PRADHAN (TEACHER)
Domestic violence has been happening in Nepal since the past 40 years until today, even in the 21st Century. Even in today’s developing times, domestic violence has not been eradicated. Despite the efforts of many associations, government agencies, and legal processes, domestic violence is still increasing invisibly. In our TKN organization, we have been repeatedly conducting classes on how to become self- reliant and self – protective through the bright light of education for many sisters who have been subjected to domestic violence. This year too, Reena Dangol has been participating in our organization. A 23 year old girl came to study in TKN. She is also a victim of domestic violence and daily abuse by her husband. We aim to collect information about the child and conduct educational activities to help her in her future education and make her self-reliant. This work will be good for our entire Khushinest family.

I am going to write about women’s equality and gender equality important in our society and life.
Women’s equality is important because it is a fundamental human right and a cornerstone of a peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable society. It is crucial for economic growth, as it unlocks the potential of half the population and contributes to more inclusive and stable communities. Additionally, gender equality leads to healthier societies, reduces poverty and hunger, promotes better health and education outcomes for everyone, and is essential for achieving democratic goals, as it requires the equal participation of women in all aspects of life.
Gender equality isn’t just about balancing opportunities for men and women—it also includes breaking down stigmas surrounding gender identity and expression. Creating spaces where individuals can express themselves freely without fear of discrimination or judgment is vital to fostering inclusion. By supporting policies and practices that value diversity and equity, societies can move closer to ensuring that everyone is valued for their unique contributions, not limited by outdated norms or biases.
Gender equality is essential to upholding human rights and fostering societal progress. It ensures that every individual, regardless of gender, can participate fully in society and realize their potential.
Societies that prioritize gender equality consistently see higher levels of economic prosperity, innovation, and social stability. According to gender equality statistics from the McKinsey Global Institute, advancing gender equality could add $12 trillion to global GDP by 2025. This underscores the significant economic and social benefits of closing gender gaps.
When women and men have equal opportunities, the benefits ripple through communities. Household incomes rise, children gain greater access to education, and civic engagement flourishes. Recognizing the importance of gender equality is the first step toward creating a world where opportunities are universal, and progress benefits everyone.
